Poonam Kaur Now Onwards Nakshatra

Poonam Kaur, the Hyderabad based model turned actress has changed her name. From now onwards she will be called Nakshatra (means star). So with this name she wants to turn herself as a star actress in Indian cinema.

The actress was recently seen in Prakash Raj’s Payanam in the role of an air hostess. She is former 'Miss Andhra' and made her Tamil debut with SA Chandrasekhar’s film Nenjirukkum Varai. The film didn’t do well so she shifted her look towards Tollywood and has done good films. Now she is acting in Prabhu Deva’s next project with Vishal doing the lead role.
Nakshatra plays the role of Vishal’s sister and in fact she played the same role in the original version of this remake.
