Recently Zarine Khan made a cameo in Salman Khan’s ‘Ready’. For her small appearance, she had to travel to Bangkok where she was introduced to Asin, the leading lady of the film. However the conversation between Asin and Zarine was not just restricted to ‘hi’ and a ‘hello’ on the sets but also beyond the shooting hours.
Informs a senior crew member, “Since Asin is quite familiar with Bangkok, she took Zarine to some of the best shopping malls and exclusive food destinations. For Zarine too it turned out to be a mini-holiday of sorts as she opened up soon enough. Asin too understands that for a one film old girl like Zarine, it can get awkward to adjust herself to a unit which has been together for more than half a year.”
None of the two women though are making a big deal about it and claim that gone are the days when leading ladies got insecure about divided attention during the making of a film.
When asked to detail her rendezvous with Zarine, all that Asin was willing to comment was, “For me it is a person who matters and not his/her profession. It doesn’t matter if she was an actress or a family friend. Zarine was a guest for all of us out there and I treated her as any host would do to her guest.”
