K V Anand is thoroughly satisfied with ‘Ko’, his forthcoming directorial venture. “Every youngster watching the film would sure aspire to become a journalist,” says the cinematographer-director.
“The film starring Jeeva as a mediaperson (photographer to be precise) has chronicled well the lives of journalists, that too those working for daily papers,” says Anand, who started his life as a photo journalist.
“Story is always the super hero,” he says and adds: “When a filmmaker is confident about the script, he can sure make a very good movie. So I ensure that my script is strong before wielding the megaphone.”
To be released by Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies, ‘Ko’ is expected to hit the screens soon. After its release, Anand will start ‘Maatran’, for which he will join hands with Suriya after ‘Ayan’.
