Ponniyin Selvan Estimate Upto 100 Crores

Anushka, the actress much in demand in South industry has signed up Manirathnam’s most prestigious project Ponniyin Selvan.
Now bringing Anushka on board has made the project much more special and the lead roles are played by Vijay, Arya and Tollywood Prince Mahesh Babu. Sources claim that Anushka will be apt for the role of Princess as she has earlier played similar kind of roles in Mythological stories. She is playing an important female lead, in fact it is a very strong role in the film.
Vijay will play the role of a brave warrior Vallavarayan Vandiyathevan while Mahesh Babu is likely to play King Aditha Karikalan. Arya will be seen in the role of Arulmozhi Varman, who later becomes Raja Raja Chozha. All the actors are going to act without shirts and will be wearing only Dhotis. Director Vasanth too is joining the team to assist Mani Ratnam for this historic epic.
Santosh Sivan is working for camera while Sabu Cyril has been roped in as art director. AR Rahman is working as music director. Ponniyin Selvan will start rolling from October, 2011 meanwhile Mani is busy with the Pre production work.
Ponniyin Selvan budget is likely to be as big as 75 to 100 crores and also expected to be a bilingual both in Tamil & Telugu.
