Sathya, younger sibling of Arya makes his debut into films with ‘Kadhal 2 Kalyanam’ he plays the role of an RJ. Sources close to the director have revealed that the hero was sent to Anupam Kher’s acting school for improving his acting skills and getting the expressions right before the camera. The heroine is Divya Spandana and she plays a workaholic financial consultant.
Milind who has been assisting Mani Ratnam in films like ‘Kannathil Muthamittal’, ‘Ayitha Ezhuthu’, ‘Yuva’ and ‘Guru’ has called the shots for this film. The music for ‘Kadhal 2 Kalyanam’ has been set to tunes by Yuvan Shankar Raja and is sure to be a hit with the youth. There are rapid numbers and slow melodies which will stay in the minds of youngsters for long.
This family entertainer is sure to entertain you with the refreshing lead pair and the cast which so much resembles a normal upper middle class Chennai family. The director has also subtly brought in the emotional battle the bride and the groom face in the other’s homestead and how the young couple overcome it and win the love of the in-laws.
