From shooting to recording to re-recording to mixing, everything related to ‘Vaanam’, the biggest multi-starrer of Tamil cinema, is over. The film will go for Censor certification this week, say sources in the know.
“Though it is a remake of Telugu hit ‘Vedam’, it is not a plain rehash and director Krish has taken extra efforts to ensure that the magic is repeated in Kollywood too. ‘Vaanam’ will be an impressive show,” they say.
Playing the lead roles in the film are STR, Bharath, Anushka, Prakash Raj, Sonia Agarwal, Vega, Santhanam and others. “There are five lead characters and everyone has a meaty role to perform.”
Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja, Simbu’s good friend. “All the songs from ‘Vaanam’ have already been declared chartbusters. They are expected to create a huge impact once the film gets release.”
