Porali is a film which is supposed to be based on ethnic issue of Sri Lanka. This film will also narrate about the struggle of the LTTE who fought for the freedom of Tamilians. Sasikumar is doing the lead role in this film.He made his debut as a director through the film Subramaniapuram which turned out to be a block buster. Then he did the lead role in the film Nadodigal.
The film Poraali is being directed by Samudrakani. This film has created a lot of expectations. Selection for the female lead role is going on. Initially Anjali was supposed to pair with Sasikumar but now Samudrakani feels that Trisha would be suitable for the female lead role.
So now there is news that Anjali has been replaced by Trisha. When Trisha asked about this she said that neither Sasikumar nor Samudrakani had approached her regarding this. Trisha is currently acting in two Telugu films and pairing with Ajith in the Tamil film Mankatha.
