Superstar Rajinikanth and AIADMK general secretary J Jayalalithaa share one thing in common. Both are residents of Poes Garden, one of the posh residential localities in the city of Chennai.
So when his neighbour was heading towards a historic win in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections on Friday, the top actor could not resist himself from congratulating her and wishing her all the best. With doctors advising him rest for two weeks (please note that the Superstar was in a hospital recently), his daughters Aishwarya Dhanush and Soundarya Ashwin met Jayalalithaa on their father’s behalf.
They presented a boquet to the Chief Minister-in-waiting and conveyed her the congratulatory message of their father. Jayalalithaa enquired about the Superstar’s health condition with Aishwarya and Soundarya and wished him a speedy recovery, we learn.
