Asin has made her away to bag another exciting Bollywood project alongside Akshay Kumar in Houseefull 2.

Deepika Padukone who was the romantic interest of Akshay Kumar inHousefyll, is not part of the sequel and now another Southern Siren Asin will take her position.
Reports suggest that the director Sajid Khan has finally managed to get Asin to star with Akshay Kumar in Housefull 2.

It must be mentioned that Deepika Padukone opted out of another project, Heer Aur Ranjha, in which she was supposed to share screen space with Shahid Kapoor, with whom Deeps does not share good vibes, which is being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, who worked on Housefull as well.

Deepika Padukone’s dates were apparently becoming an issue as far as this film is concerned. Deepika Padukone, who is currently working on Prakash Jha’s Aarakshan alongside Saif Ali Khan, is also to allocate dates for her Tamil Debut movie with Superstar Rajinikanth, directed by KS Ravikumar for Rana, a period film.

Heer Aur Ranjha has thus been pushed to year-end and now the makers are looking for a replacement for Deepika.

Meanwhile, Deepika had also been very keen on playing the lead opposite Shahrukh Khan in Sajid Nadiadwala’s adaptation of 2 States. But sources confirmed that Asin was roped in for the movie. So, Deepika is now out of all Sajid Nadiadwala projects.

Asin was earlier supposed to work with Akshay Kumar in Priyadarshan’s De Dana Dan. However, Asin had opted out of that film then. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala also confirms Asin’s presence in Housefull2.

Remember the two southern beauties earlier gelled well at a chat show Tere Mere Beach Mein, hosted by Farah Khan and the two buddies claimed to be good friends in the industry. Hope these new developments doesn’t spoil their “friendship”!

Well Asin seems like the current flavor in Bollywood with projects with Salman Khan in Ready, Shahrukh Khan in the film adaptation of 2 states and now Housefull 2 with Akshay Kumar! Asin sure knows to make her moves.

Rana is Rajinikanth’s upcoming multilingual movie which will see the superstar in triple role The movie directed by KS Ravi Kumar is being made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. This movie Rana will be a period film and is jointly produced by Soundarya Rajinikanth’s Ocher Studio Private Limited and Eros International.

The movie is said to be a action packed entertainer. Earlier it was Deepika Padukone who was supposed to romance the superstar Rajinikanth and now another name is added.
Anushka Shetty is also offered the lead role to share screen space with the triple role essayed by Rajini.

Sources say that while Anushka Shetty has given the nod to act in the film, Deepika Padukone is yet to sign the project. AR Rahman will be scoring the music, Ratnavelu of Endhiran fame will be behind the lens as cinematographer and noted Hollywood technician Charles Darby will be the visual effects advisor.

KS Ravikumar also recently cleared the air as in Rana is a separate film, while Hara a.k.a Sultan the Warrior, which is a live-action animation film , also directed by KS Ravikumar and has music by AR Rahman and is produced by Soundary’s Ocher Studios, will be a separate one and also informs that Rana will get released even before Hara hits the screen.

About the kissing scenes, director Sudhir Mishra said that he if needed to show a couple in love he would like to show them kissing rather dancing to a song.

In the film ‘Yeh Saali Zindagi’, Arunoday and Aditi played a young couple based out of Delhi, and have their fair share of quarrels and love. The film also has Chitrangada Singh.

(CBS) In case you missed the SAG Awards 2011 last night, we got the full wrap up for you here.

Betty White played the queen of comedy, thanking the audience for waiting for her long climb up the steps to grab her best actress in a comedy award; Natalie Portman added grace with her best actress trophy for "Black Swan;" and Steve Buscemi thanked an early casting director for not giving up on him as he accepted the best actor in a drama series award for his role in "Boardwalk Empire."

On the red carpet, Hillary Swank dazzled with a sparkle encrusted nude Versace one-shoulder gown and "Modern Family’s" Sofia Vergara showed off her much celebrated curves in a cobalt blue wrap-waisted Roberto Cavalli dress. Both were big winners, according to celebrity stylist Felix Mercado.

But the red carpet had some big time misses too. Get Mercado’s full rundown of winners and losers.

Speaking of misses, the "Social Network" struck out. But at least Mark Zuckerberg scored a weekend appearance on Saturday Night Live.

To cap the evening off, Ernest Borgnine, 94, took home a Lifetime Achievement Award. Well deserved.

Tollywood team is now getting ready for CCL. Manchu vishnuvardhan is the owner of the team. He bought it under his newly formed 24 Frames Factory.  Victory Venkatesh has been selected as the Captain. Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Tapsee Pannu are going to be brand ambassadors.

Many times, we had seen film stars playing cricket. But, all the times they had played, it was either for charity or other social welfare activities. Now, they are another mission.
Just like the IPL, which became popular in the recent past, Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) has been organised in which celebrities from Bollywood and South Indian film industries will play cricket. This is for the first time that such a form of game is being held.
Celebrity Cricket League will comprise of 4 teams – Bollywood (Mumbai Heroes), Tollywood (Telugu Tigers), Kollywood (Tamil Superstars) and Sandalwood (Bangalore Stars). The first season of CCL will have 6 league matches followed by grand finals.

Anu Haasan has made quite a name for herself hosting the show ‘Koffee with Anu’ on Star Vijay TV for the past 3 years. Anu the niece of Kamal Haasan has entered wedlock again with London-based businessman Graham. The wedding ceremony was attended by Kamal Haasan, Shruti Haasan, Akshara Haasan, Gauthami, Suhasini Maniratnam and many others including Graham’s parents who boarded flights from London.

Anu supposedly met her soul mate over the internet and one thing led to another and the couple finally decided to meet each other. Graham later proposed his love to Anu and yes came her reply. Now she says that she really has given this relationship a good thought. It maybe recalled that her marriage earlier with Army man Vikas dint have a happy ending and this is the second time she is tying the knot.

We wish the newly wed couple all the happiness in the future.

Vijay To Join “3 Idiots” Shooting On Feb 7th

Recent sources has confirmed that Vijay will be in Shankar’s remake of ‘3 Idiots’. Vijay will be joining the sets of ‘3 Idiots’ on February 7th, 2011. The official shooting has already started in Ooty this month. Music for this movie is composed by Harris Jayaraj. He has already composed a song and this song will be filmed for the lead pair Vijay and Ileana on his first day on the sets.

After a long series of confusions, it has been finalized that Ilayathalapathy Vijay will play the lead role played by Aamir Khan in ‘3 Idiots’ in Hindi. Stay tuned to Filmmy to get more updates regarding Shankar’s ‘3 Idiots’.
